My name is Anita Moleta. I am the principle owner and therapist at Pukekohe Counselling Service Now practicing in Pukekawa having moved to my home office due to Covid lockdowns.
As a result of now working from home, I offer online counselling, as well as face to face. Online counselling enables me to work with people from all over New Zealand, as well as overseas - as long as the time zone fits with my working hours. in Pukekawa.
I offer counselling for a wide range of emotional needs, for example:

ejection
past childhood trauma
dissociation
internal conflict
phobias
trauma
sexual abuse
relationship issues
sexuality issues
spiritual issues, including spiritual abuse
eating disorders
overcoming compulsions
weight control
sleep disturbance.
My vast training experience spans over 30 years. I believe it is essential to initially address the emotional pain of past traumas before you will be able to fully focus on using the cognitive skills to take control of you life.
I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Massey University. I have a Master Practitioners Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and a Certificate in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). Over the years I have trained in understanding the effects of Trauma, understanding the effects of Sexual Abuse, understanding and working with Dissociation, Anger Management, Stress Management, sexual harassment, and more.
I use a client-focused integrative approach in therapy, which includes many different strategies from a wide range of therapeutic modalities, such as Rogerian, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis (TA), Narrative, Interactive Drawing Therapy (IDT), David Grove's 'Clean Space'/ 'Clean Language'; Sandtray; Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT); Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT); Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP); Time-Line therapy; : Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR); Clinical Hypnotherapy; and more recently Re-Emergence Therapy (RET) and Havening. My main passion for therapy is in NLP, EMDR, RET and Clinical Hypnotherapy and Havening, as these therapies are solution-focused and produce fast and lasting results especially for trauma.
As a Christian, I depend upon the guidance of the Holy Spirit in working with people, and in knowing which is the best style of therapy to use with a person. I also operate in the Supernatural Gift of Knowledge. I respect all peoples and beliefs, and don't force my beliefs upon people. But if you as a client are also a Christian and want Biblical counselling and prayer, I am very happy to work with you in this way.
If you are looking for coaching rather than counselling, I have also trained to offer this style of service. I offer seminars in Stress Management, Sexual Harassment, Creating a Positive Future, Strategies for Success.
I offer teaching seminars in understanding and working with people, especially for those who are in the helping ministry.
I offer counsellors training in NLP and ESI to enhance your qualifications and skills in working with clients. See Training, for upcoming seminars.
I also offer business coaching to help sole traders who are struggling with self sabotage and other blocks that prevent success.
I offer Clinical Supervision, especially for those starting out in the counselling field. Supervision is a three-pronged approach: case studies, education, and personal therapy, especially when triggered by transference issues.
I believe in addressing the whole person in Body, Mind and Spirit. Nutrition and a daily healthy eating regime plays a major part in the mental health of a person, as does the need for good sleep. I am passionate about helping a person resolve the pain of the mind and emotions. And as a Christian I am aware of the Spiritual needs of a person, and how one's personal spirit can be crushed by the cruelty of others' words or behaviours. I am sensitive to and accepting of the spiritual beliefs of others.
I am a member of:
NZCCA and have regular supervision to ensure clinical safety.
